Spicy Margarita

Get ready to spice up your margarita game. This tantalizing twist on the classic favourite swaps out tequila for the tropical kick of pineapple rum, and adds a fiery punch with a hint of spice. With the zing of lime and the warmth of chili, it's a bold and flavourful cocktail that'll heat up any occasion.

 

Ingredients:

  • 50ml Rum&Sum Pineapple
  • 25ml Lime Juice
  • Half Jalapeno slices
  • Pineapple slice for garnish
  • 1 cup of ice cubes
 

For the Tajin rim:

  • Tajin spice
  • Sugar syrup 
To make your own sugar syrup, in a small saucepan combine water and granulated sugar. Place over medium heat and stir until sugar is dissolved.

Step 1

Combine the Rum, Lime Juice, ice and Jalapeno slices into a cocktail shaker and

Shake, shake, shake!

Step 2

To prepare the glass, tip a  generous amount of Tajin spice onto a small plate

Coat the rim in sugar syrup & dip rim into the spice and ensure thorough coverage

Step 3

Pour cocktail mixture into glass and garnish with a slice of pineapple
